Tripura: Two ISIS suspects held from railway station, gets jail custody

Agartala : Two persons suspected of having link with ISIS were arrested due to their suspicious movement in the Badharghat railway station on Wednesday. They were identified as Zamil Khan (60) and Ismail Khan (22).

They were first spotted by General Railway Police. After a thorough search, they recovered nine mobile SIM cards and six mobile phones from them.

Later, they were sent to three-day jail custody. In the preliminary investigation, it was found that Zamil is resident of a remote village of Maharashtra and Ismail is resident of Habiganj in Bangladesh. When asked, both of them said that they came here through the border in search of herbal medicines.
